Pollock Properties, Inc., has three partners — Ann Pollock,
Gaynell Roberts, and Doug Jensen — who not only offer a broad
range of complementary skills, but who are deeply involved in the
local Flagstaff community. All three are members of the National
Association of Realtors, the Arizona Association of Realtors, and
the Northern Arizona Association of Realtors.
Partners
Ann Pollock, Broker and Co-Owner
A
third-generation Flagstaff resident, Ann has worked in real estate
since 1969. Her 35-year stint in the industry covers all aspects
of sales, property management, commercial management, commercial
leasing, mortgage loan servicing, and limited appraisal activity.
Prior to opening her own brokerage firm in 1982, she worked at Coldwell
Banker Commercial Brokerage Company, Western Savings & Loan
Brokers (in REO dispositions), and Northern Arizona Realty &
Investment Company. She also leased and/or managed four major local
shopping centers, including Westcor’s Flagstaff Mall.
Over the past 20 years, Ann has become a community leader. She
has served on the boards of many local organizations, including
the Northern Arizona Association of Realtors (6 years), the Flagstaff
Chamber of Commerce (6 years), the Advisory Board of the Salvation
Army, the Flagstaff Pine Country Pro Rodeo (15 years) and the Arizona Historical Society. She was
part of the search committee for the new Dean of the College of
Business at Northern Arizona University and currently serves as a volunteer for the Sheriff's Search and Rescue.
Ann was nominated for the Athena Award in 1992, a testament to
her contributions to the community, as well as her excellence, creativity
and initiative in the real estate business.
Gaynell Roberts, Associate Broker and Co-Owner
Gaynell has worked in real estate since 1991. Her career started in
Flagstaff with P.S. Property Services, where she kept books and
handled all office activities. Gaynell joined Cave Pollock Realty
& Management, Inc., (Ann’s previous business with a different
partner) in 1994 as a property manager for residential properties
and homeowners associations. She also provided bookkeeping services
for about 400 properties and worked with investors to buy and sell
their properties. Gaynell is active in several local organizations.
Gaynell brings an accounting background from Louisiana State University
to Pollock Properties. Her well-honed skills allow us to provide
excellent bookkeeping services to clients without outsourcing.
Doug Jensen, Licensed Agent and Co-Owner
Doug
graduated from Northern Arizona University and, like many others,
fell in love with Flagstaff and never left. After earning his B.S.
in Political Science and B.A. in Religious Studies, he spent several
years as an operations manager in the Flagstaff hotel industry.
Doug joined Ann and Gaynell at Cave Pollock Realty & Management,
Inc., where he managed residential properties and homeowners associations
and sold residential properties. An active member of Big Brothers
Big Sisters, and the Northern Arizona University Alumni Association, he takes pride in contributing to the local community.
Doug learned to speak conversational Spanish at the Bilingual Institute
in Cuernavaca, Mexico. His language skills have helped him communicate
with our Spanish-speaking clients and renters.
Cecelia “Acey” Christie, Bookkeeper and Property Manager
Cecelia “Acey” Christie lived on the Navajo reservation during her grade-school years. She is fluent in Navajo as a second language—a valuable skill when working with the Navajo people and their spiritual culture.
Acey earned her BS in Parks & Recreation from Northern Arizona University in 1995. She met her husband while attending NAU and has lived in Flagstaff ever since.
Acey started in the real estate business as a receptionist at Flagstaff Property Management. She then went on to obtain her real estate license in the spring of 2007. Besides working for PPI, Acey keeps busy with raising her two kids and their pets. She enjoys going camping and hiking with her family, every chance they get. |
